AB  - This data is the statistical data of the area of returning farmland to forest in the shallow mountainous area of Qilian mountain from 1999 to 2018, mainly including Yongchang County, Jinchang city; Gulang County, Liangzhou District and Tianzhu County, Wuwei City; Ganzhou District, Gaotai County, Linze County, Minle County, Shandan County and Sunan County of Zhangye City; Area data of returning farmland to forest land, barren mountain afforestation land and mountain closure forest land in Aksai County, Dunhuang City, Guazhou County, Jinta County, Subei County, Suzhou District and Yumen City, Jiuquan City. Seedling planting is adopted for afforestation in shallow mountainous areas of Qilian Mountain. The main afforestation tree species include Qinghai Spruce, Xinjiang poplar, Elaeagnus angustifolia, red willow, Caragana korshinskii, etc. the land preparation methods mainly include cave land preparation and fish scale pit land preparation.
