TY - Data T1 - Heihe River Integrated Remote Sensing joint experiment: snow depth flower stem observation data set in intensive observation area of Binggou basin (2008) A1 - Liang Ji A1 - Bai Yunjie A1 - Xiaohua Hao A1 - Li Hongyi DO - 10.12072/ncdc.NIEER.db1842.2022 PY - 2022 DA - 2022-03-15 PB - National Cryosphere Desert Data Center AB - During the pre-test period (November 11-16, 2007), according to the topographic characteristics of Binggou basin, a total of 51 flower stems were arranged according to different topographic distributions such as flat land, shady slope, sunny slope and semi shady slope (including morning sunny and afternoon sunny), and the height of each flower stem was 2 meters. The height of each flower stem exposed outside the surface was recorded. During the enhanced test period (from March 2 to April 6, 2008), 10 flower stem observations were carried out in Binggou basin to observe the exposed height of flower stems after snow cover, and the snow depth at flower stems was obtained by calculating the difference with the height of bare land. The flower stem observation adopts two methods: human close-up observation and telescope assisted observation, accurate to cm. There were 10 observations in the test period in 2008. The detailed dates are: March 2, March 4, March 9, March 16, March 19, March 21, March 23, March 29, April 1 and April 6. Flower stem data can not only study the spatial heterogeneity of snow cover in mountainous areas, but also provide a basis for monitoring the accumulation and melting process of accumulated snow in Binggou watershed. The file contains two files, one is the original data and the other is the preprocessed snow depth data. DB - NCDC UR - http://www.ncdc.ac.cn/portal/metadata/dda8044b-c257-4085-bc9a-7f6324b3dd53 ER -
