%X The data include the 10-year resolution dry and wet index series of five main climatic regions (arid region, main plateau, Northern Xinjiang, Hetao region and northeast plateau) in Western China in recent 400 years and the high-resolution (annual resolution) dry and wet index series of three regions (northeast plateau, Hetao region and Northern Xinjiang) in recent 500 years.
