Bias coefficient is the ratio of the measured bearing capacity of pile foundation to the theoretically calculated bearing capacity. This data can reflect the deviation between the measured bearing capacity and the theoretically calculated bearing capacity. Through the analysis of the bias coefficient, the uncertainty of the pile bearing capacity in the region and in the site can be quantified, which provides a basis for design decisions.
