They are the main measures used for regulating runoff to change the distribution process of natural water resources and play an important role in social and economic development. The construction of numerous reservoirs in the Heihe River Basin has a significant impact on the utilization of water resources in the regionIn order to facilitate user mapping needs, we have prepared a distribution map of reservoirs in the Heihe River Basin using topographic maps and remote sensing images. The location and shape of the reservoirs are mainly obtained through manual interpretation based on Google Map images, which basically reflects the current distribution status of reservoirs in the Heihe River Basin before and after 2010
