It is generated by using the temperature depth and observation time correction model for calibration and combining the daily in-situ SST data from two infrared (MODIS and AVHRR) and three passive microwave (AMSR-E, AMSR2, Windsat) radiometer and the daily satellite SST retrieval data. The accuracy evaluation shows that the reconstructed dataset shows significant improvement and can be used for analyzing mesoscale ocean phenomena.
