%X This data set is the original data of species composition of Macrobenthos in the intertidal zone at the base of the Great Wall Station during the 29th Antarctic scientific expedition of China in 2012 / 2013. Marine Macrobenthos refer to the organisms that live on the surface of marine basement or in the sediments and have a body length (diameter) greater than 1 mm, such as sponges, corals, shrimps, crabs and polychaetes. By using mathematical means and modern instruments, we can study the process of energy flow and material conversion among different trophic levels of marine benthic community, and then study the whole ecosystem of a specific sea area.
