This dataset is the CTD data of the Prydz Bay survey area from 1997 to 1998 during the 14th Antarctic Expedition in China.CTD (Conductivity, Temperature, Depth) refers to a detection instrument used to detect information such as seawater temperature, salinity, and depth. The measurement method is to use a winch to lower the CTD profile instrument cut from the ship at a certain winch speed until it reaches the specified depth of seawater, and then retract it back onto the deck. Complete an ocean cross-section survey by deploying a CTD profiler. CTD is an important tool for profile measurement of marine environmental elements.
